PNE and Nodes

Hi all,

I'm a little confused on something here, maybe somebody can shed a little light. I'm reading Spiller/Mccoy on Spiritual Astrology to learn more about eclipses. They say that basically our prenatal solar is the gift we are given to share with others; and the lunar prenatal is lessons we have chosen to learn. I'm good up to here.

I was analyzing about thirty charts that I have and noticed an interesting trend. With most folks there prenatal lunar is the same sign as their natal south node. Myself and one other person have this reversed. Our prenatal lunar sign is our natal north node.

My questions are: If the prenatal lunar is what we are to learn, why do so many people have this sign as their SN, which represents the past? Is it unfinished learning and karma that still has to be learned in this incarnation?

In my case and some others, what we are to teach, represented by our prenatal solar, is our natal SN. Does this mean we bring a completed knowledge from the past to share?

I work with Jan on her support team, and YES! She to has recognized this phenomenon, and has helped us to understand it's significance like this:

What may first seem contradictory, like having any person's Pre-Natal Lunar Eclipse (PNLE) in the same Sign as their South Node (SN)...

...or what may seem to you waterbearer50 as bringing completed knowledge from the past to share - your (PNSE) in the same Sign as your SN...

...may actually be quite a gift & a blessing for you people both. If you / any person actively participates in this simultaneous process of, teaching/learning... learning/ teaching... teaching/learning, etc...

Then, this conscious process really then becomes... two sides of the "same coin" and not at all a dichotomy or definite "definition" in any way.


In general, having a PNLE - (by Sign & by House) represents something foreign, something you are wanting to love, learn & embrace in this Lifetime. So what the native may experience (or perhaps has already experienced or is currently experiencing in their Life) are opportunities for re-learning or integrating only specific qualities represented by the same Sign & by House of their SN.

And at first glance you could certainly say, "Well, how can that be? ~ How can a person learn the lessons of their PNLE if they have already mastered these same lessons (as noted by their SN being in the same Sign?)"

And for you waterbearer50, the opposite would hold true. "Well, how can that be? ~ How can I learn the lessons of my PNLE if I 1st need to learn these same lessons (as noted by my NN being in the same Sign?)"



What Jan is wanting you to know is this.

There are two things to consider:

1) Let's not assume that what any person is wanting to teach and to learn are identical attributes & archetypes represented by the Sign's of their PNSE or PNLE's. Or, that what they have mastered or are wanting to master are identical attributes & archetypes represented by the Sign's of their SN's or NN's.

As you are perhaps aware about Astrology & specific qualities represented by the archetypes & attributes of all 12 Zodiac Signs, the consciousness's of each is of course "vast."

And because the consciousness of each archetype includes an infinite number of subtlties... ~ ...it then kind of makes sense that there would be qualities about any person's consciousness that they do not feel "complete" with and therefore are also wanting to learn! (...this would be a representation of their PNLE).


2) Please take a glance at both yours & others Pre-Natal Eclipses, by House. In Spiritual Astrology, (pages 439 - 451) / ... please note that each Pre-Natal Eclipse is also listed by Degrees ( ' ) and by minutes ( " )


Do the Pre-Natal Eclipses fall into the same House as the natives SN or NN?

If so, then this "Venue" (the House of both your PNLE & PNSE) are to be lived again and re-integrated into some facet of the natives psyche... in order to purify this placement to it's highest potential. In the "arena" represented by this house, this is where the native simultaneous process of, teaching/learning... learning/ teaching... teaching/learning, etc... is to take place.

Do the Pre-Natal Eclipses fall in different Houses then the natives SN or NN? Then this is symbolic of wanting to experience the Sign's Archetypes in different "ways" / (Houses).

Please take the Houses in which the PNLE's & PNSE's / ...the SN's & NN's are located into consideration. This will give you added information as to the venue (at a Soul Level) any individual is wanting to experience this LEARNING / TEACHING process.
