transfer of membership from old to new website

Have been trying for several days to get logged into the new web site after having recently joined the old web site. It won't let me use the old web site login username/password and I can't re-register directly on the new web-site.

Also looking for the basics steps after downloading anfy2 for mac to incorporate the galaxy applet into the well of wisdom web page.
