I had my natal chart done and I don't really understand the T-square. I looked it up in an astrological dictionary and it says it has to do with my sun. Does it mean when your rising and sun signs conflict? And if so what does that really mean?
My sun is in Cancer, moon in gemini, and leo rising. if that helps at all.
I can understand how my signs all have conflicting energies, is that true? If so how can you better align your personality to work as a whole and not divided parts.

Dear Psyche,
I have a dear friend who is a Student of Astrology at Kepler College (are you familiar with it?). We were emailing each other the other night. I mentioned your question & how little I know about "T-Squares."
She offered to share with you her understanding here on Jan's Message Board. She Registered under the name "Strawberry Gal" wanting to share her following message with you.
Something came up and she asked me to post her thoughts on her behalf.
I hope this helps Psyche... perhaps you both will connect here on Jan's Message Board in the future.

"Psyche,"
In response to your question regarding Tsquares...it would be hard to tell you the exact significance of your Tsquare without seeing your chart.
To best explain the energy of a Tsquare...it is 2 planets in direct opposition to each other and each is square to a 3rd planet or apex. It looks kind of like a triangle,,,and in a sense the energy is that of a friends triangle...
Think of it this way....you have two friends...your best friends ever. They get in a fight...(opposition)...and each look to you for help...or may actually be somewhat irritated with you because you remain friends with the other. You...(apex) really want to help your friends...but can't because if you help one...the other gets mad at you...so there you 3 sit...
In the case of planets...it really is 2 are fighting against each other (opposed), and are also irritated with the one that sits in the middle. What has to happen...is the apex planet, the middle guy..has to find a way to resolve or interact with both of the opposing planets. I hope that makes sense.

So how would that manifest in my personality, how do I get the two parts to merge?
I guess I just want to understand better how this would work in real life.

Hmmmmmmmmmm........................
That's a tough question to respond to Psyche.
When you are wanting to understand any "blending" of energies (planets)... my experience is you need to either:
1) develop a very practiced, intuitive, inner understanding of how your chart (specifically your T-Square) is manifesting itself in your life.
People do this inwardly by looking at life as a Mirror, as a Healthy Reflective Process... to reveal the Nature of one's own conciousness. The thinking being that we create our own realities.
But that's a Leap! - Lord knows it's not my specialty!!
-------------------------------- or -----------------------------------
2) It's much easier & a heck of a lot more fun, rewarding, & insightful to have an Astrological Consultation either over the phone or in person with a real good Astrologer.
I have had several sessions with Jan and know that her Insights gave me a quantum leap in figuring out how to put together all these "seemingly" opposite or contradictory energies in my own chart... into a Sychronistic Whole!
