Mercury retrograde cycles always offer the opportunity for us to reevaluate our lives, so we are not living in a “straight line”- simply going forward out of ritual and habit - but have the opportunity to reflect inwardly to see if the directions we are pursuing are truly in alignment with what is important to us to create and experience at this juncture of our lives.
In the days of August PRIOR to Mercury turning retrograde on the 9th., the best use of the time is to take care of any last minute worldly activities. This could include: going to the doctor or dentist, having your car repaired, initiating new ideas, signing any outstanding contracts. These are tasks best completed before the Mercury Retrograde cycle begins.
Anything initiated during Mercury retrograde usually has to be repeated, to undergo an adjustment, to “get it right”. If you are traveling under this cycle and encounter any delays or adjustments in your travel times, your best bet is to keep a sense of humor and be more aware of the enjoyment of the process as it unfolds itself in its own timing.
