Southern hemisphere Spring Equinox

Hi...
I was just wondering about the Spring equinox treasure map timing for the southern hemisphere.
Spring is traditionally seen as "the 1st of September", so should I use the New Moon in September (in Virgo ?) or the Libra New Moon, which falls in October?
Any help would be appreciated.

Hello Emma! ~ I assist Jan on her Support Team & saw your posting here... thought perhaps the below information may be helpful to you!

Yes!... Climatologically ~ (Phew....... that's quite a word but "real" none-the-less) :D

You living in New Zealand / the Southern Hemisphere... that would of course make this upcoming Equinox (on March 20th) your Autumn Equinox, and for us in the Northern Hemisphere it is our Spring Equinox.

"Equinox" simply being when both Night & Day are of equal length of time.

So you would think, then... that "Treasure Mapping" would be best suited for all you folks in the Southern Hemisphere on Planet Earth at the time of the New Moon after the Equinox on September 22nd (your, "1st New Moon of Spring" / the Northern Hemisphere's, "1st New Moon of Fall").

From an "Earthly" perspective that kind of makes sense (Spring being "New Beginnings" for tilling the soil, planting vegetables, flowers, crops, etc.).

Astrologically however, there is a very different Energy present.

Beginning your Treasure Mapping on the New Moon after the Equinox on September 22nd (the New Moon would be on October 3rd) ~ ...the problem would be that this New Moon is in Libra... (Fair, impartial, likes to see both sides, relationship-oriented, diplomatic, seeks balance and harmony).

Not exactly a great time for Aries archetypes like: being bold, daring, independent, energetic, seeks new beginnings to discover self through experiences, competitive, innocent, eager.

And because the Art of Wishology is a Astrological Phenomenon based on the Power of the New Moon... regardless of where you Live on Planet Earth, it is at the time of the New Moon in Aries (Aries archetypes = New Beginnings) that is appropriate for Treasure Mapping!

So, even though "Season-wise" / this upcoming New Moon (on April 8th @ 3:33/EST - U.S.A.) is the 1st New Moon of your Autumn...

...Astrologically, This is the Annual New Moon in Aries and therefore is the correct "Energy" for New Beginnings ~ to begin your collage / your Treasure Mapping!

I know Jan has communicated to me that she usually has a little party for friends on that evening and they do the treasure maps together... perhaps that might be fun for you to do with your friends in New Zealand!

I have not asked Jan this specifically... but I am guessing that perhaps Treasure Mapping in a "Group Consciousness" kind-of-way may add some additional Power to your Wishology! I'd be happy to as her if you'd like me to?
