a question regarding house of north node

I am not understanding how to determine which house my north node is in. Astrology for the Soul is a fascinating, enlightening book, but only a few words in its intro describing how to determine which house my north node is in. I can only guess that it might be determined by rising sign? So if my north node is in capricorn, my rising sign is scorpio, then is my north node of capricorn in the house of gemini (being the 3rd house, capricorn is in my 3rd house)? if anyone could clarify this, i would really appreciate it, thanks.

Hi Melsky! ~ ...your quickest bet is to use Jan's, " FREE ASTROLOGY BIRTH CHART & MINI-INTERPRETATION "

On Jan's Homepage (www.JanSpiller.com) you can find this by clicking on the section titled, FREE ASTROLOGY CHARTS.

After entering your Birth Information, you will get your Natal Birth Chart. With your Scorpio Ascendant... I'm guessing that your North Node in Capricorn (is in you 3rd House).

Also, If that's the case... then your South Node would be opposite that... in your 9th House. (...fyi...)

But please run your Natal Birth Chart to "double-check" because there are other factors...

Perhaps you already know this... but your North Node will look like a, "right-side up" horseshoe. Your South Node will look like an, "upside-down" horseshoe or like the letter " U "

Below the Natal Chart you will produce, ~ it will list all the Planets, your Nodes, Chiron, your Ascendant & Midheaven... and what Sign & House they are in!

thank you so very much Aquamarine for your reply....the vibe i once again feel from all associated with Jan Spiller is that this brave new century has some hope with caring sharing of information for evolvement for all, as you all practice.

seems i did have the same result as my unsure method, my north node capricorn is in the house of gemini.(3rd house).....so i am trying to be here now within this awesome world, and will stay away from the 'desert' for now!
