My husbands chiron (along with saturn) falls in 18 pis 33' , 5th house. I read recently that chiron in this house could indicate having children who are abnormal (birth defects etc). I am curious if this is possible. On our composite chart, my sun, venus, mercury, & moon all fall within his fifth house (which normally are in my 8th house). Would my planets help to minimize his chiron placement?

I'm just a student of Astrology so take it for what it's worth...........

...but here's some thoughts. The Wounded Healer (Chiron) in my experience has simply shown a "snippet" some prior consciousness "glitch" that is in a person's Mind-Map. The "Bigger Picture" of one's learning/growth are the Nodes. So for your husband's Chiron, ANY 5th House Archetype (creative self-expression, the procreation of his self - children, social endeavors, Art, or any extension of his "Will") could be a matter he will specifically address in his Life.

Throw in Pisces & you have a sensitivity to others, a kind & gentle way that also opens the door to self-sacrifice & over sensitivty to the suffering of others.

Then Saturn's there saying, "uh-uh" - ...learn a new way to "be," all-things-5th House & express them in Piscean universal kind of ways.

So I guess YOU have to ask YOURSELF ~ ...(i'm not clear if your S,V,M & M are also in Pisces)... ~ ...but if so ~ are you, crazy 8... "in" a good, positive, connection to the Infinite with an understanding that there is a WILL-TO-GOOD in the Universe (...perhaps a favorable expression of, all-things-Pisces) ~ ???

Perhaps the, "Death & Re-Birth" (S,V,M & M in your 8th House) of your Piscean understandings will prove to be a supportive-uplifter to your husband's learnings that will unfold as he works through his Chiron/5th/Pisces.

HOW this will manifest, who knows?

So I agree with you that yes, your "...planets (will) help to minimize his chiron placement?"

Faith that there is a, "Will-To-Good" in the universe is a positive energy. And the Law of Attraction says that Positive Energy can ONLY attract more of the same into your Life experience.

All the Best ~ !!!

Hi Crazy 8,

I too am just an amature astrologer, but I can relate to your 8th house stuff. My Chiron, Sun, and Mercury are all 8th House Pisces with a Pisces 7th/almost 8th House Saturn.

Remember that the Wounded Healer isn't just about wounds. It is about healing others as you heal yourself. One possible senerio for your hubby is that through joy and children he is able to heal some of his past hurts so that he can go on to show others how joy can heal. How he learns that can come about in a variety of ways. If it is through a child with a disability, then that is just one way, but personally I don't believe that you would be "marked" to have a child with a disability. I am a former social worker of 10 years and worked with kids with disabilities and I have to say that although it is a tough path, it is one where you do learn a lot about life, gratitude and not taking the small things for granted.

I also STRONGLY agree with Aquamarine. I am a HUGE believer in the Law of Attraction. We attract what we fear in many ways. It is almost like on Trading Spaces where the family says that they would like any color EXCEPT green. What do they get??? GREEN! I know that is very simplistic, but it has played itself out in my life over and over and over again. Thankfully, I have learned to harness the positive side of this and have been attracting what I do want into my life.

Hope this helps.

Hello! I am new to this sight, and just wanted to say that I also have my sun, venus, and mercury in Pisces in my fifth house. My boyfriend also has his saturn, and chiron in Pisces in his 5th as well!
I have always had this strong need to have his child, since the moment I met him. It's a strange mystical feeling.
