Ive recently started learning abouthe 'Laws of Attraction' theory and have realised that some of my NMA wishes mmay be out of sync with this. And they are the wishes that have been working the least well. Before I realised this I did work on those issues by formulating new wishes which fortunately were more in sync with the LOA. For example, one early wish was 'to put consistent energy into ridding myself of debt' when the LOA (I think!) would advocate stating putting consistent energy into creating a healthy bank balance'. I'd be very grateful if any readers have advice on this and what I should do for best results.

Best wishes & thanks,

Desmond

I m surprised there have been no comments here on NMA & the law of attraction, seeing as the latter is getting a lot of attention, certainly here in the UK with the recent Secret Film and best seller called something like Cosmic Ordering, all of which seem to amount to the same thing. Although ive only watched the film,
a tv celebrity here claims the cosmic ordering book revived his career and consequently attracted the wrath of the Chrurch. Very funny I think.
What I did'nt express very well in my OP was to know if others apply the law of attraction to wishology or have thoughts about this. I've decided to backpeddle so to speak and rewrite those of my earlier wishes which I think were out of sync with the loA. As I keep my lists this wont be a problem but will take precious time.

Hi Desmond ~ :)

I've been working with the Law of Attraction for several years now...

...yes, it IS getting worldwide attention but i feel somehow people are using different phraseologies to express this / ... go figure?

For what it's worth, here's my take on this relating to Jan's New Moon Wishing and also the Abraham-Hicks material...

I have found the best use of New Moon Astrology is by kind of considering the concepts & ideas Jan is describing, and saying to myself; "Yes, I certainly need to work on that..." & "No, I can see where that could be a problem for me... but at this time in my life, I think I'm doing O.K. in the area... etc." Jan's work represents "the whole" of Consciousness... of which we all have complete access to. What parts are specifically applicable to us individually... well, only we know ourselves.

By doing this, we begin to see that we (you, I, everyone) is/are creating our own reality... our joys, our challenges, testing our ability to learn, and develop a patience for the process, that there is a greater "part" of all-that-is assisting us, everything ~ !!! - (The Law of Attraction) - That we attract to us people & circumstances to become more aware of our Unconscious nature & the lessons (growth) we are wanting to achieve in this life.

When you can specifically identify "the nature" of your own consciousness... you begin to free yourself from negative thought patterns by making choices that are healthy FOR YOU! - (The Law of Deliberate Creation) - because you become consciously AWARE of your unconscious nature (as indicated by your Natal Chart, your Progressed Chart, and current Transits).

Wishology then becomes a joyful & rewarding process because emotionally... ~ ...you're all ready there.

Then the Universe simply runs around like a giant UPS delivery service trying to catch up to & manifest the same emotional vibration you are already resonating and solely focused upon...

That's my experience anyway

Happy Wishology ~ !!!

I am also a student of the Laws of Attraction. I have many, many examples of how it has worked in my life in amazing ways.

Additionally, I have found by study that the actual time of the New Moon isn't traditionally considered the time to make your wishes. I'm talking way, way, way back. From my experience, the time of the Balsamic, or Dark Moon, is considered the traditional wishing moon. The New Moon itself is for contemplation and planning of the actual initiation of the wish.. the seed that was planted on the dark moon. For me, "wishes" made on the Dark Moon see swifter results and clearer outcomes.

Thanks for the replies.
From what Ive looked at the Law of Attraction is very specific about the wording used to attract whatever it is one wants. 'Where attention goes, energy flows' In a sense this makes perfect sense - only focusing on what is wanted and not what you want to remove. So, for ex.
I'm pro peace, and would go to peace rallys as opposed to being Anti-war and going on anti-war demos which might actually amplify the energy sustaining war.
Is it possible to be something without being against something else?

I am a Psychologist, entrepreneur and published author. I have been educated in Germany, did resurch in the US.

The law of attraction makes a loot of sense from every angle I looked at it. I tried it and it works.
The most astonishing realisation is that my mother (87) has followed this concept all her life intuitively without any education what so ever. She has dealt with her life focused on happyness and is still happy and radiating so much love that you could bottle it up and sell it.

I had a conversation in spring with my Physics teacher (82) who assured me that the statements regarding radiated energy, which attracts the same are valid.

I think it is important to know that my mother always had a strong, open displayed connection with her creater. I have come to see that pleasing your creater and appreciating his intention for me to be is essential. Pearl
