Void of Course Moon in Yod Configuration

My question has to do with void of course moons in a yod configuration with Neptune and Pluto. The moon was in Cancer in the 8th house as the apex planet of the yod in a recent legal situation where there was a conviction with 2 life sentences which I was under the impression that 'nothing would come of it' because of the moon being void at 22 degrees inconjunct Neptune at 21 degrees of Aquarius and inconjunct Pluto at 26 degrees of Sag. I have always read that the inconjunct is a minor aspect and not considered significant in relationship to the moon being void. However, that has not been my experience and it would seem that this event certainly validates that point. Does anyone have other information or experiences that either validate whether the moon is void when an inconjunct is in place or contradict it?
