Hi, I don't know if this forum is used much, but I thought I would come here rather than elsewhere on the web. I have read Jan's book AFTS and found it just amazing. The Noth node aspect has really helped me a great deal.
Recently I sent the book to my friend who is a virgo nth node. I found that virgo north node was also so much like me that I learnt even more. My question for someone is this: I am a Pisces Nth Node, born in Virgo Virgo nth node is very helpful to me. What is the connection between being a Virgo, having nth node in Pisces and finding Virgo nth node so helpful? Am I using he book incorrectly? should I also be reading Virgo nth node? perhaps one travels from Virgo to Pisces nth nodes? Can anyone shed some light on this aspect? Much appreciated. Jason |

Hi Jason,
I work with Jan and thought your question was very good - and may perhaps be insightful for others to read here on the Message Board - for people with the Nodal placement opposite their Sun. So, direct from Jan, she wanted you to know the answer to your question. She wanted me to let you know... quote, "If a planet conjoins the South Node (in this case, like your Sun which you said was in Virgo), the South Node energy (in this case, Virgo) needs to first be replayed and purified." My personal take on what she is describing here is that inorder to embrace the full potential of your North Node/Pisces... you will experience in this life opportunities to express the highest expressions of the sign Virgo... then... kind of like the metaphor of a chain of dominos, "if you knock the first one over, the pattern continues..." - when you embrace this purity of the essence represented by the sign Virgo - the sequence that follows will just naturally lead you into the understanding of your Soul's deepest desires in this lifetime... the consiousness at some level of Pisces qualities & archetypes (thus, your N. Node in Pisces) that you are wanting to incorporate in your "Mind Map." ALSO, HOUSE position counts-- ie: if a person's North Node is in Pisces in the 6th House (natural house of virgo) they are working on BOTH NN in Virgo (6th house) AND NN in Pisces. Hope this helps! |

Transition?
Thanks for that, much appreciated.
If I understand what you are saying, everyone needs to grow to the full potentila of their sun sign to enable them to really move into the north node and allow that to develop. Is that roughly what you mean? Kind of a 'Part A' of life nd then a 'Part B' only not so deliniated, more of a transitional process? Appreciate your time and support with this. Jason |

My personal experience on your last post Jason... No... & Yes!!!
Confoooooosed Yet?In your words... "everyone needs to grow to the full potential of their sun sign to enable them to really move into the north node and allow that to develop." My personal opinion, Jan or someone correct me if I'm wrong please... "No" -- this specifically applies to you because not everyones South Node is in the same sign as their Sun. Of course the expression of every person's Sun Sign is important, but for you it takes on special meaning. Use Jan's "Chart Services" to calculate the "degree's of orb" - how many degree's are between your Sun & South Node in Virgo? What planets aspect the Nodes? Then, my recommendation... get an Astrological Reading to assist you in this interpretaion! The "Yes" (again, personal opinion...) it does seem that for most people, "LIFE" in general (the evolution of all your planets/their expression in you) is a transitional process... we grow... we learn... So, I think you're right on there... Hope this helps... |

Oh I get it, ..south node first needs to be worked out. I thought that Virgo (my sun sign but not necassarily my south node) first needs to be worked through before I could really focus on my north node.
But you are suggresting I lookat my south node. So I guess I need to look up my south node...it seems to be in Virgo will need to check for sure. And not everyone wil have the same south node as their sun sign, so awhen I looked at virgo in the book it looked so real for me, but that was just a coincidence that virgo is both my sun sign and south node. I will take your advice and get a proper reading / interpreatation. Can you recoment anywhere online? That takes north node etc into account? Regards Jason |

Kind of a "conflict of interests" or a Bias here on my part Jason... since I work for Jan...
Yes, I would encourage an Astrological Consultation... Jeffery Wolf Greene is good (but I think he's sick or something), Terry Lamb is great... And of course with Jan... BUT NOT because I work for her... but because I've had two and found both extremely insightful, timely, rewarding... and just plain fun! And because I truly believe in her Astrological Insight & understanding of the Nodes. Recommend a reading "in person" or over the phone... not "on-line." Have you read Martin Schulman's book, "The Moon's Nodes & Reincarnation?" A Quick read/Great book... That will help too... But do your Natal chart (if you have not already) to find the House placement of your Nodes. Good Luck! |
