Gemini (5/21 - 6/21)
Much of the astrological activity this month will occur in your 11th house of friendship and community. This could result in a full social calendar and the opportunity to recognize the friends who truly support you. March 20th is the Vernal Equinox and the day the Sun enters Aries. This date is considered the Astrological New Year and is a potent time to focus on new goals. However, this year, Venus will station retrograde on March 4th and continue this cycle until April 15th. It will be wonderful timing to reconnect with old friends!
Unlike Mercury retrograde, Venus retrograde won’t influence your sense of logic or the reliability of technology. Instead, you’ll be directed to reflect on your emotional state and reassess your values. It won’t be ideal timing to initiate a new relationship or business. However, it can be a productive month to re-negotiate agreements or gain closure on issues related to a romantic or business relationship.
You may be tempted to end or begin a partnership around this time, but it isn't advisable to make major relationship decisions during Venus retrograde. If you need space, it will be better to put things on “pause” rather than make permanent changes. With Venus traveling in retrograde through your 11th house of friendship and community, it could be time to catch up with friends, or recognize the need to feel valued by those around you.
Additionally, several outer planets will be stirring change in a big way. This month, Jupiter, Pluto, and Uranus will be in a tense T-Square that will set a backdrop for personal transformation. You’re scheduled for a big shift in the way you relate to almost everyone in your life, including friends, family, intimate partners, business partners, and yourself. The interactions you have now, however small, are part of a greater plan to help you feel more empowered within relationships. Be ready to let go of old self-defeating habits that may be interfering with your ability to enjoy healthy relationships.
The Sun will be in Pisces and your 10th house of career and public image until March 20th. These days will be ideal for creative work projects and gaining attention for your skills. On the 20th, the Sun will ingress into Aries, signifying the Vernal Equinox and astrological New Year. The second half of March will offer the energy and inspiration to generate new ideas.
Even though Venus will be retrograde, you can still set personal goals during this time. Your friends can be a strong source of wisdom and support. Bounce some ideas off of others to help gain clarity and get moving again on any projects that have felt “stuck.” The timing will be good to finish unfinished business and settle past debts.
Mars will enter Taurus on March 9th. To maximize this time period (March 9th – April 20th), focus your energies one step at a time. This could feel challenging, as Geminis often like to multi-task. However, this month you’ll be much more successful when you put one foot in front of the other and minimize distractions.
The March 27th Aries New Moon will be the most powerful New Moon of the Year for setting intentions. With this New Moon in your 11th house of friendship and community, it will be wonderful timing to attract the people and situations you desire!
