" ["august"]=> string(3414) "

This month, you can make the most of the available astrological energies by taking care of unfinished business in order to clear your plate for what’s to come. Be patient and know that the second half of September will offer support to take bold steps forward.

The first few weeks of August are a wonderful time to gather with loved ones. The Leo Sun will be encouraging activities that bring you joy. Leo is a sign associated with children, making it a great month to spend time with grandchildren or other special children in your life. On August 22nd, the Sun moves into Virgo, and you could feel the need to get organized and rid your living space of excess clutter.

Mercury will be retrograde from August 12th to September 5th. However, during the first days of August, we’ll already be in the “shadow phase” of this phenomenon, which discourages starting new routines. You will be supported, however, in efforts to reinstate any healthful habits that might have fallen by the wayside this summer. Time to get back on track!

Just when Uranus has reached the final degrees of your Sun Sign, it will station retrograde on August 3rd, prolonging its journey through Aries until mid-May of 2018 (AND it will dip back into your sign briefly November 2018 - early March 2019). If you were born April 16th - 20th, you’ll likely feel the energizing, innovative, and freedom-loving energies of Uranus the most throughout this month. You could be feeling the urge for more independence. You could butt heads with family members or others around you. Asserting your individual needs could feel especially important now.

However, avoid acting impulsively in the coming months, as Uranus has an erratic energy that can increase the likelihood of careless accidents. You have a strong will now that can help you reach your physical goals. But you’ll need to pace yourself! When Uranus stations direct on January 2, 2018, you’ll feel less focused on yourself and will be in a position to advocate for others.

This month, we’ll experience two Eclipses that will offer powerful realizations and the ability to release negativity from your life. On August 7th, the Lunar Eclipse in Aquarius puts the focus on your 11th house of friendship and community, and 5th house of romantic partnership and creativity. This may be a time when you recognize the need to contribute to a community-based or humanitarian effort.

It’s also possible that you need to clear the air with a romantic partner so you can get on the same page. Remember that Lunar Eclipses elevate the emotional intensity in the atmosphere. Take a moment to consider your words carefully before expressing your feelings. It might be best to have important conversations a few days after the Eclipse has passed.

On the 21st, a Solar Eclipse in Leo will promote endings and beginnings in the areas of creativity and romance. However, because Mercury will be retrograde, focus on what you need to release from your life at this time. It’s likely that you are ripe for a new beginning within an existing partnership or with a new special someone. What old relationship patterns can you release from your life that will enhance current or future partnerships? Creative activities will also be supported. Follow your inspiration!

" ["september"]=> string(3662) "

If you’re trying to start up some healthy habits, you could have difficulty this month. Mercury goes direct on the 5th, but we’ll be under the influence of its “shadow phase” until the 19th. You can experience success when you re-initiate routines that you’ve already established but had allowed to lapse. On the 20th, the Virgo New Moon will support new goals related to health and wellness. This is great timing, as we’ll be clear of retrograde energy! After the 20th you’ll be able to make your new diet or exercise program stick.

The Virgo Sun will shine in your 6th house of daily routines and wellness through September 21st. During these days, you might be feeling quite productive. Channel your energy to get organized around the house. It will be a great time to clear the clutter! Mars, your ruling planet, will ingress into Virgo on the 5th, giving you the motivation stop procrastinating a cleaning project. Others may look to you to help them sort through their belongings or manage their schedule in some way.

From the 1st to the 4th, Mercury will be retrograde in Leo and your 5th house of romance and creativity. Don’t be surprised if you’re feeling nostalgic for a past relationship. An old flame could even turn up in your life! Use these days to finish or revise a creative project. It will be an ideal time to connect with loved ones. Reach out to anyone you haven’t heard from in a while. Spending time with grandchildren or other children in your life will be favored.

The Pisces Full Moon on September 6th will shed light on an issue that’s been brewing beneath the surface. Your subconscious will be activated, and you could receive important information in a dream or during a meditation practice. This will be a beneficial Full Moon for emotional healing, but you could be feeling overly sensitive during this time. Taking some time for yourself will help you to access feelings of inner peace. Spending time in or near water will be particularly soothing.

September 22nd marks the Sun’s ingress into Libra and the Autumnal Equinox. This is a mid-way point in the Astrological year, which begins with the Spring Equinox in March. This will be a wonderful time to gather with loved ones and share your experiences of the past six months. Celebrate each other’s accomplishments and offer support for those who have faced challenges this year. Nurture your current relationships and welcome new friends into your life.

Pluto will station direct on September 28th, helping you to feel more personal power over the next seven months. During this period, you could take on a leadership role or more responsibilities within a club or other organization. Be mindful about taking on more than your fair share, however. Make conscious decisions that will ensure you maintain control over your time. Others will respect you when you’re able to be direct about what you’re willing to do.

" ["october"]=> string(3914) "

This will be a good month to focus on practical communications with loved ones. Partnerships of all types will be ripe for new beginnings. If single, it will be a great time to meet someone who is reliable and down to earth. The astrological energy this month will support making plans for the future and pursuing your passion. Don’t feel guilty about doing something special just for yourself! Last month, we cleared Mercury’s retrograde shadow period and can now enjoy making clear connections and feeling in the flow.

October begins with a Mars-Venus conjunction in your 6th house of daily work and wellness. When these relationship-related planets get together, our ability to balance our partnerships is increased. Whether attached or single, it will be easier to work with others. Health and wellness will be a prominent theme. It’s possible that you’ll team up with a friend or loved one to support each other’s health-related goals. Getting out for some fresh air and exercise could be a wonderful way to meet someone special! If attached, you and a partner may find it easier to address practical issues together and help each other get organized.

On October 5th, the Full Moon will be in your Sun sign! During the days around this Full Moon, you could gain some valuable personal insights. You may be reflecting on yourself and/or a partner. It’s possible that a loved one will act as a mirror to help you identify a change you’d like to make for yourself. Avoid taking rash action as this Full Moon could have you feeling a bit fired up. Take note of the realizations that come to you, but wait until a few days after the Full Moon has passed before making important decisions.

On the 10th, Jupiter will ingress into Scorpio and your 8th house of intimacy, psychology, and shared finance. This will initiate a year-long transit that will help to clear up confusing or mysterious circumstances in a relationship and/or financial matter. This will be an excellent time to get your finances in order and deal with debt and estate planning. You’ll experience growth through the process of accepting your current circumstances and letting go of any resentment from the past. In a sense, this transit represents a period of regeneration where letting go of the old will usher in new, healthier energies.

The New Moon in Libra on October 19th will be a great time to make new friends. Or, you may feel the need to start fresh in a current relationship. Fair dealings and harmonious interactions will be supported. Use this period to set goals to improve the relationships in your life. Timing is good for planning a social event or collaborative project.

On October 23, the Sun will move into Scorpio and your 8th house of intimacy and shared finance. Follow your intuition when it comes to money matters and reading the emotional “vibe” of those around you. It’s possible that someone close to you would like to share their feelings, but they may need you to prompt them. Your wisdom and courage can serve as an inspiration to loved ones.

While you’re good at living in the moment, you can also plan ahead when you put your mind to it. This month, you’ll reap the rewards of the work you’ve put in over the years, especially when it comes to money and resources. It could be time to cash in on money you’ve earned and/or saved. If you’re considering additional investments, the timing is favorable. Saturn, planet of stability, is making a supportive trine to your Sun. If you were born April 14 - 19, of any year, you’re also getting a lot of innovative ideas from Uranus. The result can be some unconventional problem-solving that helps you to feel more self-reliant.

The Taurus Full Moon on November 4th will light up your 2nd house of finance and self-worth. You’ll be able to assess your financial situation with a level head and material gains will be likely. You’ve had some luck going lately, so don’t rule out the possibility of extra money from out of the blue. However, your most successful ventures will require your patience and ability to stick to a plan.

A trine between Saturn in Sagittarius and Uranus in your Sun Sign will help to motivate you towards a plan you’ve had for some time. This powerful trine has been in effect most of the year and you’ll be able to enjoy its benefits until the middle of next month. If you’ve been feeling restless, it’s likely because you know there are some things you need to take care of. Not all of it will be a chore - it could be time to do something fun just for yourself!

Jupiter will be in a favorable trine to Neptune all month, which will be exact by the last few days of November. The powerful alliance between these two planets of spirituality is one of the prevailing aspects during 2018, but we’re getting a sneak preview over the next few months. You’re in line for personal healing that comes through letting go of emotional “baggage.” Efforts to deepen your close relationships will be rewarded. Let loved ones know how much you care.

The November 18th New Moon will be in Scorpio and your 8th house of intimacy and shared finance. This will be an excellent time to set intentions related to partnership, your sex life, psychological healing, shared investments, and paying off debt.

Neptune will station direct on the 22nd, which can make it difficult to focus. Therefore, it will be best to avoid making important decisions November 20th - 24th. The overall energy during this time period will be best suited for activities that promote peaceful feelings. Make an effort to set aside time for yourself to relax and feel connected to your higher power. You’ll feel renewed and ready to take on decisions or challenges after this week.

On November 21st, the Sun will ingress into Sagittarius and your 9th house of travel, adventure and higher education. During the last week of the month, you could be preparing for some new adventures. Foreign travel and taking classes will be especially favored. Break out of your routines and enjoy some new experiences.

Mercury is retrograde this month, which means it’s time to slow down. What have you started that needs to be finished? There’s an emphasis on travel, education, and spiritual practices for you during this retrograde cycle. Is there a special location that brings you inner peace? Could be time to take a trip that returns you to yourself. This month is also marked by the Winter Solstice on the 21st, a time to reflect on your past achievements. Recognize what you’ve accomplished and consider how you can use your skills to help others. You could be ready to step into the spotlight and take on a leadership role or share your expertise in some way.

The Full Moon on the 3rd is in Gemini, which will put the focus on communication, learning, and your daily tasks. It could feel especially busy and conversations could be emotionally charged. Be sure to review the facts before getting fired up. Mercury will station retrograde on this day, increasing the likelihood of crossed wires or missed connections. You’re being called to slow down now and take your time when communicating with others.

The New Moon on the 18th will be in Sagittarius and your 9th house of travel, adventure, and higher education. The New Moon is typically a good time to set new goals, however, we’ll be in the midst of a Mercury retrograde cycle on this day.

Think carefully about your wishes and realize that they could take time to unfold. Next month, when we’ve cleared Mercury’s retrograde influence, review your wish list and see how you feel. In the meantime, do some research. Perhaps a foreign travel destination is calling, or you’re thinking of enrolling in a course of study. Learn what options might be available to you.

Saturn moves into Capricorn on December 19th, which will put an emphasis on responsibility, long-term planning, and leadership. Others may look to you for guidance, and you could have the chance to serve as a teacher or mentor. This can be a time when you feel limitations in the realm of career. Perhaps you’re preparing to retire or work less hours. If you’re already retired, you may feel the need to volunteer or put your skills to work in some other way. It won’t be time to withdraw from your work life, even if you have retirement on the horizon. It’s time to start building the next chapter of your life!

2018 begins with a Full Moon in Cancer on the 1st, which will bring issues to light related to family members and/or your living situation. You might need to make changes to your home to make it more comfortable for yourself or a loved one. It will be a good time for family gatherings.

We clear the shadow phase of Mercury retrograde by the 10th, which will facilitate forward momentum. Therefore, for best results, wait until after this date to set your New Year’s resolutions. This month’s New Moon on the 15th will be in Capricorn, offering support for long-term goals, financial planning, retirement plans, or using your skills and experience to help others in their careers.

Uranus will station direct on the 2nd, ending a retrograde cycle that began on August 3, 2017. If you were born April 13 - 17, you might be feeling especially restless. Uranus works to stir up our impatience so we can make necessary changes. While Uranus has been retrograde this year, you may have felt the need for more independence or personal freedom.

Now that this planet of rebellion has stationed direct, you could be feeling a bit headstrong. Your needs and opinions are valid. However, it will be important not to make drastic life changes or impulsive decisions. Instead, look for small steps you can take that will help you to feel more free and find a realistic plan of action.

Jupiter and Neptune will be working together in a harmonious trine during the first half of the month, working through your 8th house of intimate partnership and 12th house of the subconscious. Jupiter, planet of growth and expansion will help you to improve an existing relationship or attract a new romantic partner into your life. However, you may have to acknowledge and deal with an existing problem before you can get what you want.

Neptune’s energy will help you to come out of denial and release the beliefs and subconscious behaviors that no longer serve you. Tune into your intuition, as you have all the information you need. Be willing to forgive yourself and/or a loved one so that you can experience more love within your relationship.

The month concludes with a Lunar Eclipse in Leo on the 31st. This will highlight your love life and creative talents. Let yourself shine! Lunar Eclipses bring important information to light so you can make informed decisions. However, the energy around the days of the Eclipse could feel overly dramatic. Take note of how you feel and assess your situation once the energy has calmed a few days after the Eclipse has passed.

" ["february"]=> string(3935) "

This will be a great month for group activities and projects. You could have the chance to step into a leadership role. This month’s New Moon on the 15th combines with a Solar Eclipse, making it an especially powerful time to set intentions related to socializing, friendships, and achieving a dream. You could be craving more freedom and the ability to do things your own way. Don’t be afraid to stand out from the crowd! Others may wish to follow your example.

All month, we’ll feel the benefit of a favorable sextile between Jupiter and Pluto. The combined energies of these planets will help you to feel in charge. You could be transitioning out of the career world, or changing your public-facing identity in some way. You’re ready to redefine yourself and let people know more of your true self. You could feel strongest when you have the wisdom to let someone else take the reins.

The Sun will be in Aquarius through the 17th, moving into Pisces on the 18th. You’re primed to meet new friends between the 1st and 17th. Consider volunteering for an organization that helps others. You’ll feel uplifted by making a difference in the world, and it will be a great way to meet like-minded people.

From the 18th to the end of the month, the Sun will be in Pisces, highlighting your 12th house of spirituality and intuition. During the last two weeks of the month, take some time out for contemplation. You may be craving a connection with your higher power through prayer or meditation. Slow your pace and renew your spirit.

Both Mercury and Venus will move into the sign of Pisces mid-month. Venus, planet of love and money, will ingress into Pisces on the 10th. You’re likely to attract positive people and situations into your life. That said, be sensible and keep a down-to-earth perspective on any new romantic interests or financial propositions. Mercury, planet of communication, will ingress into Pisces on the 17th, which will help you to express forgiveness and compassion.

" ["march"]=> string(3216) "

This will be an exciting month, as many Aries are celebrating a birthday! The Sun moves into your sign on the 20th, signaling the Vernal Equinox and the Astrological New Year. This is an ideal time to set some goals for your next year and release bad habits. The month will begin and end with a Full Moon, which will help you to finish what you’ve started. It’s also a great time to see your current situation clearly and receive information that can help you determine how to proceed.

As March begins, we’ll experience a Full Moon in Virgo on the 1st. Your daily routines and health/wellness will be a focus. It’s a good time for a check up to make sure a health-related issue doesn’t go unnoticed. You’ll be especially tuned in to your body, so don’t ignore symptoms you’ve been coping with. It is a great time to clear the clutter and organize your home as this Full Moon will highlight your need to feel more in control of your surroundings.

Mercury stations retrograde in your Sun sign on the 22nd, but we may experience its effects as early as the 8th due the “shadow phase” of this phenomenon. You can use this energy productively by finishing what you’ve started. You may feel restless and ready for action. Channel the urge to get things done productively by clearing clutter, returning correspondence, and finishing creative projects. It will also be a great time to return to an exercise routine if you’ve let healthy habits slip.

This Mercury retrograde cycle is the first in a series of retrogrades occurring over the next six months, including Mars and Venus retrograde. The effort you make during 2018 to put a wrap on anything unresolved will clear the ground for new beginnings in 2019.

The New Moon on the 17th will be in Pisces, transiting your 12th house of spirituality and subconscious. This New Moon offers support to release addictive habits such as smoking or drinking. Intentions to increase your connection with a higher power, cultivate inner peace, and get better sleep are also favored.

The second Full Moon in a month is a rarity known as a “Blue Moon.” The March 31st Blue Moon will be in Libra, and illuminates your 7th house of partnership. Pay attention to your interactions with others. If you’re not getting the desired results, look for changes you can make to your approach.

" ["april"]=> string(3354) "

Happy birthday, Aries! This month will be a mix of fresh inspiration combined with the need to finish what you’ve started. Mercury has been retrograde in Aries since last month, and will station direct on the 15th. However, we may feel the effects all month due to the “shadow phase” of this phenomenon.

The New Moon on the 15th will be in your sign, making it an extra powerful time to set intentions for the coming year! This is a great time to make a vision board--or as Jan calls it, a “treasure map”--for your year ahead. You can do this by cutting out images and headlines that contain events or experiences you’d like to have in your life and pasting them to a posterboard. Because we’re in a Mercury retrograde cycle, be sure to reaffirm your intentions next month when the influence has passed.

Jupiter and Neptune are working together in a favorable trine that begins this month and will be in effect for the next six months. Aries can benefit from this healing energy by making time for spiritual pursuits and self-reflection. Your Sun sign is known for being on the go, but the astrology for much of 2018 will call you to slow your pace a bit and make each moment more meaningful. Forgiveness, compassion, and emotional understanding will be strong themes.

Meanwhile, Saturn and Pluto will support sharing your hard-earned life lessons with others. These two powerful planets will be retrograde in the public image area of your chart, which could put you in a leadership role or reconnect you with former work colleagues. You may be asked to mentor someone in your professional field, or share your knowledge in other ways such as public speaking, writing, or being interviewed. If you’re in the workforce, this could be a time when you consider retirement or renegotiating a professional situation to your advantage.

The Scorpio Full Moon on the 29th puts the spotlight on your intimate relationships and shared resources. Full Moons help us to see information we may have been overlooking or avoiding. In the sign of Scorpio, it’s likely you’ll discover hidden emotions that can help you to understand a significant relationship. If you have a realization that feels emotionally intense, take a step back and realize the energy will calm a few days after the Full Moon has passed. The finances or resources you share with others could also be a focus. Review your accounts and make a plan to resolve any debts.

" ["may"]=> string(3417) "

May will offer you the energy and cosmic flow to take the initial steps towards a new goal. Mercury was retrograde in your sign during March and April, but as of May 3 we’ll be clear of the shadow phase of this phenomenon. We have more retrogrades in store this summer, including your ruling planet, Mars, stationing retrograde at the end of June. This is the month to move forward!

Your intuition will be especially strong, and you’ll benefit when you follow your instincts this month. The spiritual Jupiter-Neptune trine will continue, and will be exact during the last half of May. The focus is on intimate partnerships, shared finance, and hidden information. You’re ready to go deeper with yourself and loved ones to form stronger emotional connections through honest communication. This includes being honest with yourself! Find out what’s been going on beneath the surface and take charge of a financial situation.

This month’s Taurus New Moon on the 15th will be ideal for money-related goals or intentions that involve material resources. Use the power of this New Moon to consider what you value and set your sights on what makes you feel secure.

The 15th is also the day Uranus will ingress into Taurus after spending approximately seven years in your Sun Sign. This is a significant shift of energy for the planet representing rebellion, innovation, and freedom. Depending on your birthdate, you’ve likely felt the effects of Uranus passing over your Sun sometime in the past seven years and there’s a strong chance you’ve made some pretty big life changes. Aries born April 16 - 18 may feel restless for up to another year, but in general, the focus will shift to less personal areas of life.

Uranus in Taurus offers you the opportunity to revise your approach to money and your self-worth. You’re ready to do things differently so you can enjoy more stability. It could be time to look at the material possessions you own to determine if there are items you no longer need. You’re being called to feel more free from financial obligation and responsibility. Perhaps it’s time to downsize, or free up your resources in another creative way.

The Sun will ingress into Gemini on the 20th, activating your 3rd house of communication and learning. The end of the month will be an excellent time to connect with friends, neighbors, and siblings. You could be inspired to take a class or join a group. Enjoy keeping your mind active and meeting new people.

The Sagittarius Full Moon on the 29th will help you finalize travel plans or see the results of your past efforts. It will be a good time for intellectual or spiritual pursuits. Follow your sense of adventure and mingle with people who have a different cultural background.

" ["june"]=> string(3070) "

Use the beginning of this month to start new ideas. As the month progresses the energy will slow, encouraging you to finish what you started.

Set your intentions at the New Moon on the 13th, then spend the rest of June working towards your goals. Because your ruling planet, Mars, will go retrograde on the 26th, you may need to do some research before jumping into action. While Mars is retrograde the next few months, you’ll have the chance to revise your vision and make improvements to works in progress.

The New Moon in Gemini on the 13th is a great time to reach out to others and initiate important conversations. You’ll also be supported to set intentions related to learning new skills, taking classes, or getting involved in a neighborhood project. The Sun will be in Gemini through the 20th, illuminating your 3rd house of information, communication, and learning. Get out and mingle!

Avoid making major decisions between the 16th and the 20th, as Neptune will station retrograde on the 18th. The days surrounding Neptune’s station can cause your mind to process information more slowly. Neptune is the planet of the subconscious, and when it’s retrograde (between June 18th and November 24th), you’ll have more access to your intuition and the spiritual realm. After the 20th, you’ll likely be more clear headed and better able to tune into your inner wisdom. Take some quiet time to prepare your subconscious mind for releasing old thought patterns and healing from the past.

On the 21st, the Sun will ingress into Cancer, signifying the Summer Solstice. Enjoy celebrating the season with family and express your gratitude for the special people in your life. It will be a great time for family reunions, parties, or vacations, as well as adding festive decorative touches to your home.

Mars goes retrograde on the 26th in the sign of Aquarius, initiating a cycle that will last until August 27th. During this time, you may reconsider your participation in a group project or organization that has been taking your time and/or energy. You’re being asked to make time for the people and activities that are most exciting to you. It will be a great time to get in touch with old friends and participate in some of the activities you used to enjoy together.

The Capricorn Full Moon on the 28th will light up your 10th house of public image. You may get recognized for past achievements or be asked to mentor someone who can learn from your work experience. Long-term projects may show results around this time and it will be an excellent Full Moon to see what’s needed regarding a decision related to the future security of you and/or your family.

" ["july"]=> string(2789) "

You could feel change brewing this month on several fronts. Perhaps you’re considering a relocation or changes to your current living situation. Your relationship with family members could be shifting. Mars, your ruling planet, will be retrograde all month, which could bring old friends back into your life. Use the available energy to resolve conflicts from the past. We’ll also feel the influence of Mercury retrograde for much of the month. It won’t be good timing for major decisions. Research your options and keep a flexible attitude, as delays are likely.

A Solar Eclipse / New Moon in Cancer on the 12th supports your intentions related to home, family, real estate, and your sense of security. You may be feeling the need to make some changes that will ensure your stability and/or that of family members. Eclipses serve as touchpoints twice a year to help orient us towards our most successful path. They usually bring a signal that something needs to change, and this Solar Eclipse in Cancer could elevate your emotions.

Take note of what you’re feeling now, but don’t rush to conclusions. You’ll be better off with a gradual approach to change this month. The ideas that emerge now could take until the next Eclipse pair in January, 2019, to fully develop.

Enjoy spending time at home while the Sun is in Cancer through the 21st. Organize your living space and/or take on some home improvement projects. It will be a great time to gather family and friends in your home. The emphasis will be on spending time with loved ones and taking a break from your regular routines. On the 22nd, the Sun moves into Leo. For the rest of the month, seek out the activities that bring you joy. It might be time to get out and enjoy the arts, or participate in a creative project. Romance will be favorable.

The Lunar Eclipse / Full Moon on the 27th may prompt realizations about group activities and your sense of community. You may be evaluating how you spend your time and the best use of your energy. It will be good timing for group efforts to show results, and you could feel called to volunteer for organizations that help others in need.

Both Mars and Mercury will station direct this month, which adds energy towards new endeavors. Mercury doesn’t go direct until the 19th, so wait until after this date to make major life decisions or initiate an important conversation with a loved one. By next month, we’ll be completely clear of the shadow phase of this phenomenon and you’ll be supported to take some steps towards a goal.

Although Mars goes direct on the 27th, we’ll remain in the shadow phase of this cycle until October 8th. Best to proceed slowly and be prepared to retrace your steps, especially when it comes to collaborations.

This month’s New Moon on the 11th combines with a Solar Eclipse in Leo. This high-powered New Moon will stimulate change and new beginnings related to romance, creativity and children or grandchildren in your life.

Any intentions you write at this time are scheduled to unfold over the next six months. But because there is so much retrograde energy afoot, state your intentions clearly, then revisit them at next month’s New Moon on September 9th to make sure they’re what you truly want. We’ll be under the influence of various retrograde cycles between now and the end of the year. You can make progress, but the pace will need to be slow and you might have to circle back to finish something you thought was complete.

A favorable trine between Saturn and Uranus could show you recognition or reward for your efforts in the past, making it a good time to mentor others and enjoy the benefits of your financial planning. Additionally, Jupiter and Neptune form a harmonious trine all month. Spiritual pursuits are favored and you could feel as if you’re connecting with someone you’ve known from a past life. Remember not to jump into a new relationship, but pay attention to those who come into your life at this time. You’ll likely have something important to learn from them.

When the Sun enters Virgo on the 23rd, you’ll be supported in efforts to stick to health-related goals and get organized in your daily life. The Pisces Full Moon on the 26th will illuminate your 12th house of the subconscious and spirituality. Take some time alone to nurture your spirit and contemplate your next steps.

This month will provide the opportunity to take small steps forward towards a goal. We’ll clear the shadow of Mercury retrograde on the 2nd which will facilitate an easier flow of communication with romantic partners, children, grandchildren, and other loved ones. It‘s a good time to begin a creative project. While you’ll be supported to cover some new ground this month, keep in mind that Mars is still in the shadow of its most recent retrograde cycle. Some delays are to be expected, especially when it comes to connecting with friends and advancing group efforts.

Mars will clear its retrograde shadow by October 8th. You may notice any resistance to new ideas begin to lift as the month progresses. Proceed in a forward moving direction, but avoid impulsive decisions. A gentle approach will serve you well when working with others. After October 8th, people will be more inclined to start something new.

You may feel as if you’re playing catch up this  month. If organizational projects or wellness routines were delayed this summer, the first few weeks of September will be an ideal time to take action. The Sun will be in Virgo through the 21st, illuminating your 6th house of daily work and wellness. You’ll be supported in efforts to clear clutter. Consider donating items you’re no longer using to a worthy cause. When it comes to exercise, start slowly and plan to gradually increase your efforts over time.

On the 22nd the Sun will ingress into Libra, marking the Autumnal Equinox. Use this special time to celebrate what you’ve accomplished individually and with others as a team. Bring in the harvest and enjoy it together! The last week of the month will be an ideal time to engage in equitable negotiations with current or potential partners.

Saturn goes direct on September 6th, which will help you to put your ideas to practical use in the world. With Saturn and Uranus in a powerful trine this month, you’ll be focusing on finances. These planets are combining to help you make the most of your long-term planning and ability to seize new opportunities.

If retired, you could be interested in a creative way to make extra money that is very different than the jobs you’ve held in the past. Be open to unconventional ideas, but consider how your current actions will affect your stability. You may feel inspired to simplify your life in order to feel mentally and financially free.

Use this month’s New Moon in Virgo on the 9th to set work or health related goals. The Full Moon on the 24th will be in your Sun sign. It will be your time to shine!

" ["october"]=> string(2881) "

You’ll likely feel an energy boost this month. Mars, your ruling planet, will clear the shadow of its last retrograde cycle on the 8th, which is the same day as the New Moon. You’ll be well positioned to move ahead with an idea that had encountered delays over the summer. When it comes to personal relationships, however, the energies will direct you to slow down. Venus will station retrograde this month in your 8th house of intimacy and shared finance. Avoid making major decisions related to love or money. Get in touch with your values and contemplate ways to express your needs in an assertive, but loving, way.

The October 8th New Moon will be in Libra, highlighting your 7th house of partnership. Even though the timing isn’t right to initiate a new relationship, it is a powerful New Moon to set intentions involving romantic partnership. Consider what (or who) you’d like to attract into your life as well as how to balance the power dynamics with friends or lovers. Realize that it could take some time for your intentions to unfold. This month, the focus is on resolving the past so that you’ll be ready to move forward towards the end of the year.

The official dates of Venus retrograde are October 5th through November 16th. Due to the shadow phase of this phenomenon, we may feel the effects until as late as December 17th. The energy of Venus retrograde will provide you the opportunity to make peace with yourself and others. You’re called to examine how you operate in love relationships, friendships, and business dealings. If things haven’t been going the way you would like, try to identify what you could be doing differently. It’s possible that there has been a communication breakdown or lack of information.

In some cases, you could feel that information has been hidden from you. It will be important to avoid rash decisions. Plan to re-evaluate how you feel after December 17th, when we’ll be clear of Venus retrograde’s shadow.

October’s Full Moon on the 24th will be in Taurus, highlighting your 2nd house of finance and self-worth. This is a good time to appreciate your material resources and cultivate a sense of security. Long-term investments could pay off around this time.

A reflective mood will prevail this month. We’ll feel the influence of both Venus and Mercury retrograde, making it an excellent month to address anything unresolved from your past. The Sun will be in Scorpio and your 8th house of intimate partnership and shared finance through the 21st. During these days, you’ll be particularly supported in your efforts to see what’s going on beneath the surface in your closest relationships.

Venus will be retrograde in your 7th house of partnership until the 16th. You may be reminiscing about a current or former relationship. It will be a good time to share memories with loved ones and make peace with anyone you’ve been in conflict with. If single, avoid committing to a new relationship, and just enjoy the moment with anyone new you meet. Due to the shadow phase of this phenomenon, we may be feeling the reflective nature of Venus retrograde until December 17th.

The November 7th New Moon will be in Scorpio, offering you the opportunity to set intentions related to psychological healing, intimacy, shared finance, and pursuing the truth. Because the retrograde energies will be strong this month, realize that some of your intentions may take time to unfold. By this time next month, you may also realize you don’t want what you think you want now. Make note of your intentions, then revisit them on the December 6th new Moon.

On the 8th, Jupiter will move into Sagittarius and your 9th house of travel, adventure, and higher education, where it will remain until late 2019. The coming year will be a fortuitous time to embark on new life adventures. You’ll have support for travel plans or taking classes in a subject of interest to you. Philosophy and religion may be particularly compelling. Mingle with others who are excited to exchange ideas and worldviews.

Mercury will station retrograde on the 16th, initiating a cycle that will last until December 6th. Mercury is the planet of communication and learning, making this a good month to catch up on correspondence and/or brush up on a skill set.

If traveling, you could experience delays. Keep a patient attitude and sense of adventure for best results. Due to the shadow phase of this phenomenon, we may feel the effects of Mercury retrograde as late as December 24. After this date, we’ll be in the clear for new beginnings at the New Year!

The Gemini Full Moon on the 23rd will activate your 3rd house of communication and learning. It will be an excellent time to network and gain useful information. Avoid gossip or blowing things out of proportion. Stick to the facts and take a logical approach to problem solving.

Change is on the horizon, but there is one more month of retrograde energy before you’ll really feel in the flow with new ideas. Due to the shadow phase of both Venus and Mercury retrograde this month, most of December will be best spent finishing what you’ve started and reconnecting with people from the past. When it comes to relationships, it’s important to take some space for yourself and support your loved one’s independent activities. After December 24th, you’ll have the cosmic green light to make new commitments.

This month’s New Moon (December 7th Eastern Standard Time / December 6th Pacific Time) will be in Sagittarius and your 9th house of travel, adventure, and higher education. Set intentions related to teaching and/or learning. You can also use this New Moon to set intentions related to travel, new life adventures, and adopting a more positive outlook on life.

It could take until the New Year for you to get a new idea off the ground, as we’ll be making our way through the end of the current Mercury retrograde cycle (November 16th - December 6th). Mercury will enter Sagittarius and your 9th house of travel, adventure, and higher education on December 12th. If traveling, you could experience delays or other mix-ups related to the details of your trip. Keep a patient attitude and look for ways to have spontaneous fun if your plans take an unexpected turn.

Venus is spending most of the month in the sign of Scorpio and your 8th house of intimacy and shared finance. This is the area that has been highlighted during Venus’s recent retrograde cycle in October and November. It could be time to face some tough topics head on, particularly regarding shared financial ventures, estate planning, debt, or investments. On the 17th, Venus will clear the shadow phase of her last retrograde cycle (October 5th - November 16th). Wait until after this date to make major decisions regarding your finances or an intimate partnership.

On the 21st, the Sun will ingress into Capricorn, marking the Winter Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere and the Summer Solstice in the Southern Hemisphere. No matter where in the world you live, the December 21st Solstice is a time to reflect on the previous year and slow your pace to work with deliberate intention. Harness your resources and set your sights on personal goals. This Solstice will be a positive time for Aries to work towards their long-term security. It’s possible that you’ll be honored for your past achievements or asked to step into a leadership role. Look for ways to delegate rather than taking on too much responsibility on your own.

This month’s Full Moon in Cancer on the 22nd will light up your 4th house of home and family. Home improvement projects could come to fruition around this time. It will be a good time to reflect on family matters and nurture yourself and others. Don’t take it personally if people around you seem overly emotional. Revisit sensitive topics a few days after the Full Moon has passed if tempers flare.
