2018 begins with a Full Moon in Cancer on the 1st, which will encourage socializing and appreciating your friends. Group activities will be favored, especially if you are working with others for a common cause. You could feel called to volunteer in your community. You’ll feel a strong connection to close friends and might need to exchange emotional support with someone you love.

We’ll clear the shadow phase of Mercury Retrograde by the 10th, which facilitates forward momentum. Therefore, for best results, wait until after this date to set your New Year’s resolutions. This month’s New Moon on the 15th will be in Capricorn, supporting your intentions related to romantic partnership, creative projects, or any children or grandchildren in your life.

Uranus will station direct on the 2nd, ending a retrograde cycle that began on August 3, 2017. Over the past five months, feelings of restlessness may have been brewing, and you could be wishing for more personal freedom. Now that this planet of rebellion will be moving forward, you’ll want to take action that helps you to express your individuality. Loved ones could be surprised by your ideas, but you’re ready to turn over a new leaf. You could feel resistant to the advice of others, but it will be wise to strike a compromise. You do need to stay true to yourself, but moderation will be the key to your success.

Jupiter and Neptune are working together in a harmonious trine during the first half of the month. Communication and partnership will be strong themes, and it will be easier to express yourself to others during this time. You’ll be interested in getting to the heart of matters and looking at relationships realistically. 2018 will be a year for you to grow through your partnership with others, and you’ll have the chance to heal a current or past relationship. If single, this will be a great time to attract someone who shares your ideals and appreciates how you view the world.

The month concludes with a Lunar Eclipse in Leo on the 31st. It could be time to share a hidden talent with others. Perhaps you have some creative ideas that you’ve been keeping a secret for fear they’re not “good enough.” Forget about impressing others and do something creative that brings you joy. Others can benefit from your talents and you have the ability to bring out the “inner child” in those around you. If you started working on a creative project during the eclipses of August 2017, you could see beautiful results from your efforts around this time.

This will be a great month to initiate new healthy routines and take charge of your time. The New Moon / Solar Eclipse on the 15th will promote new beginnings that help you to feel more free. Keep an open mind about alternative healing modalities. You’ll also be more motivated to exercise in a group setting than on your own. Find others whose fitness goals match yours, and consider joining clubs that focus on staying active and living a healthy lifestyle.

All month, we’ll feel the benefit of a favorable sextile between Jupiter and Pluto. It will be good timing to catch up on your correspondence and focus on reconnecting with the people who mean the most to you. You’ll be encouraged to prioritize your relationships and surround yourself with positive energy. It could be time to transform an existing relationship so that you can experience more joy. You’ll benefit from open, honest conversations.

The Sun will be in Aquarius through the 17th, moving into Pisces on the 18th. Establish healthy habits during the first two weeks of the month. It could take until after the 15th for your new routines to stick. Share your goals with others for accountability. Enjoy activities with friends. It will be a great time to get out and socialize!

From the 18th to the end of the month, the Sun will be in Pisces, highlighting your 7th house of partnership. The second half of the month will be ideal for close connections. If you’re in a partnership, spending quiet time together near water could feel particularly enjoyable. If single, you could meet someone new at a concert or other cultural event.

Both Mercury and Venus will move into the sign of Pisces mid-month. When Venus, planet of love and money, ingresses into Pisces on the 10th, others will recognize your inner and outer beauty. Mercury, planet of communication, will ingress into Pisces on the 17th, which will help you to connect with a your higher power.

" ["march"]=> string(3203) "

You’ll have the ability to gain closure on a complicated situation this month. The astrology will support valuable self-realizations and creating healthier dynamics within your intimate relationships and/or business dealings.

The Sun moves into Aries on the 20th, signaling the Vernal Equinox and the Astrological New Year. However, it won’t be time to jump into new projects or make major decisions just yet. Mercury will station retrograde on the 22nd, and we’ll feel the effects as early as March 8th. Focus on finishing what you’ve started before beginning anything new.

The first Full Moon in March will be on the 1st, in your Sun Sign! This means you’re primed to receive more clarity regarding a relationship and/or your own feelings. Notice what emotions rise to the surface around this time, and take a time out if you start to feel agitated. It can be tempting to focus on what other people are doing instead of attending to your own needs. Bring your attention back to yourself and any feelings of dissatisfaction with those around you will likely dissipate.

We’ll be under the influence of Mercury retrograde throughout most of the month (after March 8th). It is a great time to make revisions to legal documents or business agreements and clear up past debts. You may feel the need to reconnect with loved ones and put a dispute to rest. It will be a good time to talk about the past and make amends.

This Mercury retrograde cycle is the first in a series of retrogrades occurring over the next six months, including Mars and Venus retrograde. The effort you make during 2018 to put a wrap on anything unresolved will clear the ground for new beginnings in 2019.

The New Moon on the 17th will be in Pisces and your 7th house of partnership. Use the power of this New Moon to set intentions related to marriage, romantic relationships, platonic friendships, and business partnerships. You’ll be supported in efforts to create a loving atmosphere for all types of relationships in your life.

The second Full Moon in a month is a rarity known as a “Blue Moon.” The March 31st Blue Moon will be in the sign of Libra, highlighting your 2nd house of finance and material resources. Are your financial dealings with others feeling equitable? If not, this can be a time to identify the problems and rebalance your agreements in a harmonious way.

" ["april"]=> string(3632) "

This will be a good month to reconnect with others and let go of feelings from the past that may be preventing you from living in the present. You’re scheduled for some reflective time that will allow you to honor the path you’ve walked so far. If you’ve felt “stuck,” this can be a month to honor your past for helping you become the person you are today.

Mercury will be retrograde through the 15th, but we’ll feel the influence all month due to the “shadow phase” of this phenomenon. Focus on releasing limiting thoughts, and give yourself permission to move forward in May, when we’ve cleared Mercury’s retrograde cycle.

The New Moon on the 15th will be in Aries, making it an extra powerful time to set intentions for the coming year! This is a great time to make a vision board--or as Jan calls it, a “treasure map”--for your year ahead. You can do this by cutting out images and headlines that contain events or experiences you’d like to have in your life and pasting them to a posterboard. Because we’re in a Mercury retrograde cycle, be sure to reaffirm your intentions next month when the influence has passed.

Jupiter and Neptune are working together in a favorable trine that begins this month and will be in effect for the next six months. This astrology creates a favorable climate for romantic partnerships, platonic friendships, and business agreements. You’ll be more able to “go with the flow,” which can help open your mind to new opportunities. Others will have resources and ideas to offer. This isn’t a time to go it alone, but that doesn’t mean you have to do anything you don’t want to do. However, you might have to reach a compromise and practice setting healthy boundaries. Loved ones and professional contacts will respect your inner strength and diplomacy.

Meanwhile, both Saturn and Pluto will station retrograde this month in your 5th house of romance and creativity (Saturn on the 17th and Pluto on the 22nd). This could be a time where you feel drawn to return to a creative activity that used to inspire you. You’ll have the self-discipline necessary to integrate a creative practice into your life and commit to a long-term project. It’s possible that you’ve had fears related to your creative expression that need to be released so you can be free to enjoy an artistic outlet.

The Scorpio Full Moon on the 29th will highlight your 3rd house of learning and communication. You’ll gain clarity about what’s been going on beneath the surface around this time. Use the available energy to understand a situation that’s been confusing and align yourself with your strongest allies.

" ["may"]=> string(3451) "

This is a great month for new beginnings--especially when it comes to your relationships and shared finances. Mercury will clear its retrograde shadow on the 3rd, giving you the cosmic green light to move ahead with decisions and commitments. You’ll be supported in your efforts to honor your individuality and set healthy boundaries with loved ones. If you share finances or other resources with a family member or partner, this is an excellent month to strategize and plan your next steps.

The Jupiter-Neptune trine continues this month, and will be exact during the last half of May. The significant relationships in your life right now have a special importance to your spiritual development. This favorable astrology will help you to make deeper connections by expressing yourself to loved ones. If you’ve been the type of person who keeps your feelings hidden, this is an excellent time to practice sharing within your close circles. Even if you do always say what’s on your mind, you’ll be learning to communicate with greater compassion in order to heal the past and strengthen your relationships.

The Taurus New Moon on the 15th will be in your 9th house of travel, adventure and higher education. This is a fantastic New Moon to start planning a big trip or look into taking some classes. Any intentions related to expanding your horizons and/or gaining knowledge will be supported.

The 15th is also the day Uranus will ingress into Taurus after spending approximately seven years in Aries. If you were born August 24 - 28, of any year, you could feel the effects of this astrology moreso than your peers. Uranus will be working harmoniously with your Sun sign to help you make necessary life changes that move you in alignment with your authentic self.

The past seven years may have brought all Virgos changes related to your work in the world or how others perceive you. That chapter is coming to a close and you’ll soon be ready to embrace new adventures that ignite your passion for life and desire for spiritual fulfillment. Keep an open mind and take any unexpected circumstances as a sign that you’re meant to do things differently now. Consider mentoring others and seek out learning opportunities for yourself.

The Sun will ingress into Gemini on the 20th, making the end of May a good time to network for business or pleasure. You could be recognized for an achievement, or be called on to share your expertise with others.

The Sagittarius Full Moon on the 29th will light up your 4th house of home and family. You may be enjoying a family vacation around this time, or finalizing plans to visit loved ones. Realizations you have now can help you to develop an inner sense of security. It could be time to adjust your outlook on life and look for favorable opportunities.

Neptune, planet of the subconscious, will station retrograde opposite your Sun this month. Everyone gets a little “fuzzy” when this happens, but you may feel this phenomenon more so than your peers. Avoid making major decisions around this time, particularly when it comes to partnership. You’ll need a little extra time for yourself to determine what you need before making plans with others.

The Gemini New Moon on the 13th offers support for intentions related to writing, public speaking, networking, promotion, and learning new skills. You could be called upon to speak about or teach a topic in your area of expertise. Others will be interested in the information you have to offer based on your life experience.

Neptune will station retrograde on the 18th. The days surrounding Neptune’s station can cause your mind to process information more slowly. Neptune is the planet of the subconscious, and when it’s retrograde (between June 18th and November 24th), you’ll have more access to your intuition and the spiritual realm. After the 20th, you’ll likely be more clear headed and better able to tune into your inner wisdom. Your subconscious mind is ready to release old thought patterns and heal from the past.

Trust your intuition, and discuss your feelings with a partner or someone close. It could be difficult to see your situation clearly, but loved ones can offer valuable feedback. It will also be great timing to work with a counselor or other professional who can assist you with emotional healing.

On the 21st, the Sun will ingress into Cancer, signifying the Summer Solstice. You may receive social invitations as this is a time to celebrate with others! Attending gatherings in your community will be uplifting and remind you that you’re surrounded by love and support. It will be great timing to get involved in volunteer projects that help those in need.

Mars goes retrograde on the 26th in the sign of Aquarius, initiating a cycle that lasts until August 27th. You’re encouraged to finish what you’ve started during this time. It will be a fantastic time to restart any health-related programs that may have slipped from your daily schedule. If you used to exercise with a friend or in a group, it could be time to re-join them in these activities.

The Capricorn Full Moon on the 28th will light up your 5th house of romance, creativity, and children. Creative projects may come to fruition and you’ll be inspired to spend time with loved ones. A grandchild or other child in your life could look to you for guidance. You’ll have wisdom to offer regarding leadership, time management, and taking responsibility for commitments.

" ["july"]=> string(2944) "

This is a good month for socializing and catching up with anyone you’ve lost touch with. The Sun will be in Cancer until the 21st, highlighting your 11th house of friendship and community. Enjoy getting out and about. Group projects will be favored. On the 22nd, the Sun moves into Leo, and your 12th house of subconscious and spirituality. The last 10 days of the month could have a more introverted feel. You may be inspired to work on a creative project by yourself and take some quiet time for contemplation.

The Solar Eclipse / New Moon in Cancer on July 12th will be a powerful time to set intentions related to collaboration, community service, and friendships. You could feel called to help others in need. Look for ways to stay connected within your community and contribute your time and talents. Extend your hospitality. It will be a good time to set goals related to relocation. Because we’re experiencing both Mars and Mercury retrograde this month, it won’t be the best time for real estate transactions. Do some research and realize that it could take until the next Eclipse pair in January, 2019, for your ideas to take shape.

Mercury, your ruling planet, will station retrograde in Leo on the 26th, but we’ll feel the effects as early as the 7th due to the shadow phase of this phenomenon. This energy encourages rest, reflection, and renewal. You could be inspired to write a memoir or honor some of your memories by organizing old photographs. Children and grandchildren will enjoy learning about your past.

You’ll also want to take it easy physically as Mars will be retrograde all month in your 6th house of daily routines and wellness. Maintain your current regimens or reinstate an exercise program that you’ve let slip from your schedule. The key is to keep things slow and steady, as you’re not meant to push yourself at this time. Exercising in groups or with friends can help you stay on track.

A Lunar Eclipse / Full Moon on the 27th will also activate your 6th house of daily routines and wellness. You may have some awareness about your time management and the need to prioritize your efforts. You’re usually the first to offer a helping hand, but take a look at what you need to do for yourself. Don’t be afraid to ask for help, as others will be eager to return the favor.

Both Mars and Mercury will station direct this month, which will help you to gain clarity about a decision that’s been on your mind. Mercury goes direct on the 19th. If you’ve been feeling at odds with yourself, you could arrive at a conclusion by the end of the month. The days after the 19th will be a powerful time to work with a counselor or speak with wise friends about your feelings. By next month, we’ll be completely clear of the shadow phase of this phenomenon and you’ll be supported to put your plans in motion.

Mars will station direct on the 27th, but we’ll remain in the shadow phase of this cycle until October 8th. Best to take it slow and be prepared to retrace your steps, especially when it comes to your work, daily habits, health, and romantic partnership.

This month’s New Moon on the 11th combines with a Solar Eclipse in Leo. This high-powered New Moon will stimulate your subconscious in order to bring new ideas to light. The available energies offer key support for goals related to spiritual development, emotional healing, and acts of generosity. It could be time to make peace with yourself or others. Children and/or grandchildren may figure prominently.

Any intentions you write at this time are likely to unfold over the next six months. But because there is so much retrograde energy afoot, state your intentions clearly, then revisit them at next month’s New Moon on September 9th to make sure they’re what you truly want. We’ll be under the influence of various retrograde cycles between now and the end of the year. You can make progress, but the pace will need to be slow and you might have to circle back to finish something you thought was complete.

A favorable trine between Saturn and Uranus is helping you to commit to your personal growth. Take the opportunity to learn something new by enrolling in classes or taking a tour in a foreign location. A romantic partner could inspire you to seek more out of life. Neptune and Jupiter are also working harmoniously in a trine, helping you to heal past or current partnerships and engage in compassionate interactions with others.

Allow others to celebrate you when the Sun enters your sign on the 23rd. Get out and enjoy your favorite activities. The Pisces Full Moon on the 26th will light up your 7th house of partnership. You’ll be able to see a significant relationship in a new light. It could be time to forgive yourself and/or another. If you’ve felt “stuck” in your love life, you could receive the information you need to get back in the flow.

Mercury will clear the shadow from its most recent retrograde cycle on the 2nd, helping you to release old habits that no longer serve you. It will be ideal timing to work with a therapist to overcome limiting thoughts and feelings. Keep in mind that Mars is still in the shadow of its most recent retrograde cycle. Proceed in a forward moving direction, but avoid acting impulsively, especially when it comes to decisions about your health.

Mars will clear its retrograde shadow by October 8th, but Venus stations retrograde October 5th and is the ruler of love and money. Because we’re in the shadow of Venus retrograde all month, take care when communicating with loved ones. Your emotions are being stirred—wait to express yourself until you feel sure of what you’d like to say. Journaling will be an excellent way to put your thoughts in order.

The Sun is in your Sun sign through the 21st, and others will take notice of your best attributes. Your ability to bring order to chaos is appreciated by loved ones. Often Virgos are the ones to take care of details for others, without needing recognition. This month, allow others to give back to you!

On the 22nd the Sun will ingress into Libra, marking the Autumnal Equinox. Use this special time to celebrate what you’ve accomplished individually and with others as a team. Bring in the harvest and enjoy it together! The last week of the month will be the best time to balance your budget.

Saturn will station direct on September 6th, which will help you to manifest goals and make long-term strategies for success. You’ll be learning to strike a balance between your commitment to others and fulfilling your need for independence. It’s important to communicate clearly and manage your time in a way that allows for you to pursue a personal passion. The timing is favorable to plan a trip you’ve always wanted to take. Romantic relationships may bloom in surprising ways.

This month’s New Moon in Virgo is your personal New Moon to set goals for the coming year. The Full Moon on the 24th will be in Aries and your 8th house of intimate partnership, shared finance, and psychological healing. There will be a lot of emotional energy surrounding these topics at this time. Take a step back and revisit conversations with loved ones after the Full Moon has passed.

Venus, planet of relationships and finance, is retrograde in your 3rd house of communication and learning this month. You may find yourself revisiting an issue from the past with a loved one or brushing up on a skill. This is a good month to focus on your material resources, health, and daily routines. Friends and those you encounter on a daily basis can help you to maintain healthy habits. Make some dates to exercise or share a healthy meal with a friend and offer your skills to help others.

Mars will clear the shadow of its last retrograde cycle on the 8th, which is the same day as the New Moon. This is a fantastic month to get organized. Mars, now moving forward in Aquarius, will help you to release overly-sentimental attachment to items that are cluttering your living space. You’re also supported in your efforts to learn a new technology that can help you stay in touch with loved ones. Computer classes or tutorials will be favored.

Efforts to better manage your money will be supported this month. The October 8th New Moon is in Libra, which is ideal for setting financial goals. It’s a great time to evaluate your budget and take a moderate approach to spending. Venus, ruler of love and money, will be stationing retrograde on the 5th, which could slow the returns on a long-term investment. Stay the course and don’t make big financial decisions. It will be a good time to collect on any debts owed to you.

Because Venus also rules your self-worth, you’ll be directed to evaluate your approach to relationships. The official dates of Venus retrograde are October 5th through November 16th. Due to the shadow phase of this phenomenon, we may feel the effects until as late as December 17th. Use these days to review the dynamics of a relationship that’s important to you. If you’ve been experiencing power struggles, look within for adjustments you can make on your end. Venus reminds us that relationship skills are learned and developed throughout a lifetime.

October’s Full Moon on the 24th is in Taurus and your 9th house of travel, adventure, and higher education. If you’ve been planning a trip, the details will likely fall into place, and it’s good timing for new experiences. You could realize you’ve been undervaluing a person or situation in your life. Be sure to express your gratitude to those who have solidly stood by you.

Your resources and security will be a focus this month. It won’t be a good time to make large purchases. Instead, be conservative with your finances and think about what you need to feel more comfortable in your home life. The Sun will be in Scorpio and your 3rd house of learning and communication through the 21st. This will be a great month for any type of investigative activities. Use this time to review your bank statements, dig into the back of your closet, and engage in honest heart-to-heart conversations.

Venus will be retrograde in your 2nd house of finance and self-worth until the 16th. It isn’t a good month to make important financial decisions, but it will be a useful time to research options related to investing or earning money. Use this month to examine your budget and consider what you value most. Due to the shadow phase of this phenomenon, we may be feeling the reflective nature of Venus retrograde until December 17th. After this date, you’ll have more astrological support for financial decisions.

The November 7th New Moon will be in Scorpio, offering you the opportunity to set intentions related to intimate partnerships, business agreements, and releasing psychological “baggage.” This month’s New Moon will provide support for therapy, journaling, and other activities that help you to identify your inner truth. Because the retrograde energies will be strong this month, realize that some of your intentions may take time to unfold. By this time next month, you may also realize you don’t want what you think you want now. Make note of your intentions, then revisit them on the December 6th new Moon.

On the 8th, Jupiter will move into Sagittarius and your 4th house of home and family, where it will remain until the end of 2019. The coming year will bring you good fortune in the areas of real estate, your living situation, and family relationships. You’re scheduled for personal growth that will come from becoming more involved with your family. You may wish to plan a trip with relatives or host a family event in your home. You may be inspired to put some memories down on paper. The younger generation of your family will benefit from the knowledge you’ve gained through your life experiences.

Mercury will station retrograde on the 16th, initiating a cycle that will last until December 6th. This Mercury retrograde will signify a time for Virgos to focus on home-related matters such as repairs or organization. You’ll also be supported to reconnect with family members—consider having a reunion for relatives who haven’t seen each other in a long time.

Due to the shadow phase of this phenomenon, we may feel the effects of Mercury retrograde as late as December 24. After this date, we’ll be in the clear for new beginnings at the New Year!

The Gemini Full Moon on the 22nd will be in your 10th house of public image. You could find yourself in the spotlight, being recognized for a current or past achievement. It will be a good time for public speaking or engaging your mind in intellectual pursuits.

Mercury will enter Sagittarius and your 4th house of home and family on December 12, making it a good time to research plans for a family vacation or reunion.

Happy New Year, Virgo! We’re off to a strong start in 2019. This month’s New Moon on January 5th is combined with a powerful Solar Eclipse! Be sure to set your New Year’s resolutions at this time as Eclipses provide energy to orient ourselves towards goals over the next six months to a year. You’ll be particularly supported to set intentions related to improving a romantic relationship, attracting new love, connecting with children or grandchildren, or actualizing a creative vision. The Sun will be in Capricorn through January 19th, helping you to prioritize your time so you can have room in your schedule for both work and play.

Jupiter and Neptune will be engaged in a tense square that will be exact mid-month. You could experience misunderstandings with a partner or relative. It can be a fortunate time for your home and family life, but you will need to release some feelings rooted in the past that could be clouding your judgement of the present. If you’re planning to relocate or make home improvements, be realistic about your budget and timeline. If you’re strategizing with a partner regarding home-related matters, you may need to get on the same page—it’s possible you have very different ideas about your situation.

On the 20th, the Sun will ingress into Aquarius, activating your 6th house of daily routines and wellness. If you’ve had trouble implementing healthy habits, you could require an innovative new approach. Social groups centered around exercise or nutritious cooking may help to make your self-care more fun and energizing.

" ["february"]=> string(3141) "

You may be having trouble getting organized at home this month. If you were born September 5-10th, of any year, Neptune is opposing your natal Sun, which can cause confusion and unrealistic expectations. Avoid taking on too much, and start with small tasks. If you are considering a move, the timing will be favorable, but you will need to get clear about what you are looking for in your new home as you’re more easily “swept away” with impractical ideas during this time.

You could have difficulty connecting with a partner or other loved one. Be patient, and work to clarify misunderstandings. Creative activities will feed you spiritually and emotionally. Listening to or playing music with others can foster a sense of closeness. It is a good month for “armchair travel”--stock up on books or watch videos about other countries for inspiration.

This month’s New Moon on February 4th will be in Aquarius, helping you to set intentions related to your daily routines and health/wellness. You’re scheduled to break free from unhealthy habits this month, but you may need to be open-minded about a new health-related activity or plan. When the Moon is full in your Sun sign on the 19th, you’ll gain the clarity needed to fine-tune your ideas.

Venus enters Capricorn on February 3rd, making a favorable trine to your Sun and lending positive energy to your 5th house of romance, creativity, and children. You could feel more confident approaching a new partnership or within an existing relationship. Practice expressing your needs from a practical standpoint, rather than getting caught up in emotional drama. It will be a very productive time to work on creative projects—channel your energy accordingly.

Mars will be in Aries through the 13th, activating your 8th house of intimacy and shared finance. The first few weeks of the month could heat up your love life! It will also be good timing to initiate business partnerships or shared investments. On the 14th, Mars moves into Taurus and your 9th house of travel, adventure, and higher education. You could be inspired to hone your skill set or take on a new learning challenge.

The Full Moon on the 19th will be in Virgo, highlighting your best qualities! Others will likely take notice of your ability to bring order to chaos. It’s possible that you’ll have a valuable self-realization at this Full Moon—try to resist criticizing yourself and focus on how you can move towards a successful path.

" ["march"]=> string(3786) "

You could be feeling inspired to travel or engage in other activities that expand your mind and life experiences. It is a good month for teaching or learning, though you may have trouble sticking with new commitments. Dip your toe into a few new activities to see what calls to you. You’ll be called to commit to a plan next month, when we’ll have astrological support for new beginnings.

This month’s astrological energies encourage you to slow down and review the past. Partnership issues may force you to consider what’s needed to relate with others more harmoniously. Take time for reflection and review past and present partnerships for important patterns and information.

Uranus will be in the sign of Taurus from March 6, 2019 until April 26, 2026. This is a significant shift of energy, as Uranus only changes signs approximately every seven or eight years and takes 84 years to circle the zodiac. Uranus is a rapid change agent, pushing people to take steps necessary for their growth.

Anyone who is 84 years old will experience their Uranus Return this year—a significant once-in-a-lifetime transit that offers understanding and enlightenment to see life from a “big picture” point-of-view. This transit is often associated with spiritual awakenings. If you’re experiencing this transit, you may also be inspired to pursue some items on your “bucket list,” as your sense of independence and desire for freedom from regular routines will be ignited.

With this planet activating your 9th house of travel, adventure, and higher education, you’ll feel a renewed enthusiasm for new life experiences and learning opportunities. Look for ways to combine travel and excitement with the steps needed to achieve a practical goal. Find a way to expand your horizons while keeping your feet on the ground. For example, if traveling somewhere new, consider joining a group or established program to provide focus and structure to your experience.

The March 6th New Moon in Pisces will activate your 7th house of partnership. Use the power of this New Moon to set relationship-related intentions for romantic partnerships, platonic friendships, and/or business agreements. Friendship will be emphasized with this New Moon—keeping that aspect of any relationship in mind will promote the most favorable outcomes.

Mercury will be retrograde in Pisces this month, helping you to heal relationship-related issues. Don’t be surprised if a former partner turns up in your life in order to gain closure on an unresolved matter. You’re not necessarily meant to permanently reconnect with a loved one from the past this month, but it’s not out of the realm of possibility. The most important focus now will be healing and letting go of pain and negative emotion. You’ll have more of a clear picture about relationships next month when we’re out of the influence of Mercury retrograde.

This month’s Full Moon will fall on March 20th, the same day as the Vernal Equinox. This Full Moon represents a “harvest” of sorts. Your 2nd house of finance and self-worth will be highlighted, and you’re due to receive the fruits of your labor.

" ["april"]=> string(3122) "

As April begins, the Sun will be in Aries, lighting up your 8th house of intimacy and shared finance. This provides inspiration and passion to your partnerships, but you or others could be feeling a bit impulsive. Make an effort to channel this energy productively. On the 20th, the Sun will ingress into Taurus. Set your sights on travel plans after this date. You’ll also be supported to take classes in a subject of interest.

The April 5th New Moon in Aries signifies a time for powerful new beginnings! This New Moon initiates 2019’s New Moon cycle with Aries as the first sign. Set intentions related to your love life, emotional clarity, asserting healthy boundaries, and celebrating your individuality within a partnership.

In her book, New Moon Astrology, Jan Spiller advises creating a “treasure map” at this New Moon by making a collage of images that represent what you’d like to bring into your life. We clear the shadow of the last Mercury retrograde cycle on April 15th. Therefore, it’s best to set intentions on the 5th, but wait until the second half of the month to take initial action steps toward your new goals.

We have three outer planets stationing retrograde this month, which turns our attention to our inner power and ability to make things happen for ourselves. Jupiter, planet of luck and opportunity, will station retrograde on April 10, initiating a cycle that lasts until August 11, 2019. This is a fortuitous time to upgrade your living situation. You’ll be called to focus on your sense of stability and how to attract what you need emotionally and materially to feel safe and happy.

The Libra Full Moon on the 19th will help you to gain clarity on your finances. A joint investment or business partnership could show profits at this time, and negotiations will likely come to a fair resolution.

Pluto and Saturn will be stationing retrograde near the end of the month in the sign of Capricorn, highlighting your 5th house of romance, creativity, and children. If you feel something has been missing from your life, it might be spontaneity, creativity, and the ability to laugh at yourself. Virgos can sometimes take life too seriously, and the “strict” planets of Pluto and Saturn are calling for you to lighten your load.

Release limiting thoughts and fears that may be preventing you from embracing more of what life has to offer. You may have to use your organizational skills to plan more time for fun in your schedule.

" ["may"]=> string(2909) "

The month of May is great for both teaching and learning. Your mind is eager to exchange ideas with others, and the Taurus New Moon on the 4th will support your intentions related to higher education. Travel is also favored, and you may be drawn toward destinations that hold historical significance. The Sun will be in Taurus through the 20th, highlighting your ability to follow through with long-term plans.

On May 21, the Sun will ingress into Gemini and your 10th house of public image. You’re likely to be in the spotlight in some way between this date and the end of the month. Your ability to connect with people and communicate your ideas clearly will be celebrated. Use your gifts of verbal and written skills to share your knowledge with others. If you’re in the workforce and considering retirement, this will be a great time to work on your exit strategy.

Mars, planet of passion and ambition, will be in Gemini between the 1st and 14th. Use this part of the month to get the ball rolling on new work projects and connect with others who can support your efforts. Then, on May 15, Mars moves into Cancer and your 11th house of friendship and community. Use the second half of the month to plan gatherings with friends and family. Others could need a little extra nurturing and you’ll have the ability to lend a helping hand.

Venus will be in Aries through the 14th, adding fire to your love life. If single, you’ll be well positioned to attract a passionate connection—your independent spirit will be alluring. It will also be excellent timing for creative endeavors and pursuing personal goals. Plan a new adventure with loved ones and make time for playfulness with children or grandchildren. From the 15th on, Venus will be in Taurus, making it a great time to get organized and maximize your time and resources. Slow your pace and make self-care a priority.

The Full Moon in Scorpio on May 18 lights up your 3rd house of learning and communication, which may inspire you to research a topic of interest. Use the investigative qualities of this Full Moon to learn something new. You may need to come out of denial regarding some aspect of a friendship or other close relationship. Consider how you can be more honest with yourself and others in order to foster more trust and intimacy.

" ["june"]=> string(2873) "

Make the most of the first few weeks of this month by initiating business dealings or changes to your work status, as things will start to slow when we enter the shadow of Mercury Retrograde on the 20th. The June 3rd New Moon will be in Gemini, supporting new beginnings related to leadership roles, your profession, retirement, or public service. June 21 marks the Summer Solstice and the Sun’s ingress into Cancer. After this date, the pace will slow, and you could be drawn to spend some quality time with friends.

At the New Moon, set intentions about your future security, money matters, time management, and achieving a personal or professional goal. It’s likely that this New Moon will stimulate your desire to communicate knowledge or information. It could be time to share your expertise through writing, speaking, or mentoring others. You’re ready to begin a new chapter related to your public life, which could include retirement plans, if you are still in the workforce. If retired, you may be inspired to achieve a personal goal or initiate a “Second Act” career.

The Full Moon on June 17 is in Sagittarius, lighting up your 4th house of home and family. Home improvement projects or other efforts to change your living situation may come to completion around this time. This Full Moon could highlight any changes you may need to make regarding family matters. Consider planning a trip to visit relatives, or planning a family vacation.

The June 21 Summer Solstice marks the Sun’s ingress into Cancer and your 11th house of friendship and community. At the same time, Neptune, ruler of the subconscious, will station retrograde. This could create a mental “fog”, so don’t force important decisions at this time. If you were born September 9 - 14, of any year, Neptune is currently opposing your Sun and you’ll feel the effects of its retrograde station more strongly than your peers. As June closes, we’re being directed to slow down, rest, and re-group.

Your best bet during the final week of June is to avoid packing your schedule. Cushion your time to allow space between activities, whenever possible. It may be tempting to over-commit, and you’ll need to stay conscious about what you can realistically accomplish.
